Julian is a self-employed Chartered Surveyor, married to Anne for nearly 37 years, and has three grown up children, all of whom attended Langton Primary School
Julian has lived in Langton for over twenty years and for the last twelve years has worked in the fastest growing development area in Europe, the Thames Gateway. This has helped Julian to understand, better than most, the current pressures for development and the threat this sometimes poses to communities such as our own.

Julian intends to make certain that any pressure for new development does not compromise our quality of life or put at risk the future prosperity and heritage of our town.
Julian has also top-flight experience as a Corporate Director for a London Borough, and he would use his operational and managerial experience of local government in the task of making Tunbridge Wells an acknowledged 'excellent' authority.
He has also been actively involved with a number of organisations in a voluntary capacity. He is currently a Community Governor with a primary school in the East End of London, and he would use his experience of community involvement in supporting any new initiatives involving the young and the elderly.
